Tree-Mappa 2.0 Launch

One of the TreeLine education projects TreeMappa 2.0 was launched on February 12 and 13 with international drama and media artists from the UK leading workshop activities. Sunshine Coast teachers also worked with Gubbi Gubbi representative Lyndon Davis, CQUniversity Lecturer Sue Davis, representatives from the “What LOCAL native tree is that?” program and Discover Eumundi to begin exploring stories about local trees. Over the next few months, participating school and education groups will build digital content about their trees in response to a number of ‘challenges’ or commissions. Digital content will be embedded in Google Maps and then imported into a specific project website (currently being built) www.everymap.net
