Sense of Place - Laetitia Hoffmann Linocut Prints
Event date: 29 Mar 2010 - 4 Jul 2010
I designed a Palmtree, a Pandanus and a Pineapple tree to be part of an exhibition in 2007 in Tatebayashi, Japan, sister city of Maroochydore, Queensland, Australia.
For me living on the Sunshine Coast of Australia, the Sense of Place is all about the luscious nature that surrounds us. The plants that I have picked to make my prints belong to that Place : Palm trees, Pandanus, Pineapples are part of my daily landscape. I belong to one of the most beautiful places in the world and I'm happy to share that beauty in my artwork.
Those prints are a small edition of 25.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you wish to see more of my artworks (drawings, paintings, mosaics, watercolours, linocut prints, kimono making, graphic design) or visit my web site www.laetitia-art-design.com.au or my blog www.laetitia-art-design.com.au/blog.
